Why BNW Energy?

Due to the huge investment level and long lifetime of energy supply systems, the energy sector is traditionally not accustomed to rapid change. However, this slow dynamics is now being challenged from two perspectives: Environmental requirements towards a low carbon society on the one hand, and the rapid emergence of new renewables on the other hand. In this highly complex and dynamic situation it will be increasingly important for government agencies and decision makers in industry and research to ask how different energy technologies compare from cost and environmental perspectives under different geographical and economic & political conditions, and likewise; what are the needs, constraints and possibilities from a system and user perspective (grid, intermittent storage, transport, etc.). In this context new hybrid energy solutions combining distributed energy generation with on-site energy storage and E-mobility are emerging with a disruptive potential to transform the energy system.
